National organization of America, research center and archive for documentation on the history of the Holocaust. Memorial for the millions of people that died during the Holocaust. Opened in 1993, the memorial collection of the Museum consists of 12750 artifacts, 49 million pages of archival documents, 80,000 photos, 20,000 names of survivors, 1000 hours of archival frames 84 000 library elements and 9000 oral histories of witnesses. There are two permanent exhibitions, as well as travelling exhibitions.

    I really like this museum! Just make sure to plan on being there for at least 2-3 hours if you wanna see everything since there're 4 levels.

    One of the best museums I have ever been to. You are given and ID card of an actual holocaust prisoner and you follow that persons story throughout the museum. It's really moving.
