Hank''s Oyster Bar - place where guests can enjoy delicious oysters and a variety of seafood dishes.

The institution is a great place for business meetings, custom dinners and noisy pastime in the company of friends. The menu of course oysters with lemon juice, as well as various kinds of dishes from fish and seafood, on the side dish is served with fried potatoes. Bar list is not extensive, but to choose there is always something.

In oyster table it is better to book in advance because the place is popular. The prices here are above average, the interior is pleasant, unobtrusive, and professional staff.
Address: 1624 Q St NW, Washington D.C.

Beloved DC oyster bar ordered closed w/ health violations: no hot water, unclean kitchen areas, others. @wusa9. Passed reinspection/reopened.

La Vie en Rose is tasty! And the Getaway is a very cool twist on your classic greyhound. The Hangtown Fry is savory/salty amazingness (though I would have preferred about half the sauce)!

The lobster bisque. The lobster bisque. The lobster bisque. Do we need to say it again?

Oysters should obviously be the first thing on your to-try list - especially chef Jamie Leeds own varietal of oyster, the Hayden's Reef. Try the lobster rolls, po' boys, and crab cakes too..

Order a plate of half shells from the blackboard. Then, have the bartender pull you anything from Allagash (a brewer in Maine). and suck those little guys down with some horseradish and Tabasco.
