One needs to try hard to find such a legendary club in America. Fillmore became truly iconic in the 60-ies, when San Francisco became the capital of freedom and hippie movement. Jimmy Hendrix and the Cream played here, the career of Carlos Santana and the legendary Jefferson Airplane started on this stage, and later Radiohead, The Cure, Prince, and Sonic Youth played in Fillmore. The gained name is still a success for the club. It is believed to be prestigious to play here, therefore the Fillmore never has a problem with good musicians.

Came to the Kimbra & Mikky Ekko concert and it's a great place to go to. So much history and great setting. The staff is super friendly, it almost felt like a family establishment. read full review

Shop at Safeway and leave obvious Safeway bags in your car so it doesn't get towed.

Make sure you go upstairs to see all the posters, and grab a free apple on your way in.

You're not at the Fillmore until you've had a delicious free apple.
