Another piazza, not much to see
Les P , Johannesburg, South Africa, 2015-04-12
Nice vibe and good people watching, but not much to see. Few bubble blowers and the inevitable selfies sick pests. Don't miss the 2 churches behind you. Not worth a special trip. read full review
Nice place to take a walk
Athanasios D , Thessaloniki, Greece, Europe, 2015-04-11
The piazza is a lovely sight, not very special, but nice. There is a great obelisk in the center and some fountains. There are some restaurants nearby, but they are pretty pricey. read full review

En castellano su nombre se traduciría como Plaza del Pueblo. Se discute si este nombre procede de la capilla está el convento de Santa Maria del Popolo o por la abundancia de chopos en esta zona
