It is a modern exhibition centre, opened in 1999, after been renovated on a design by the architect Gae Aulenti, and since then it hosts prominent art exhibitions. The exhibit displays demonstrate the life of Giovanni Bellini and Giorgione, comparing similar subjects, which were created at different times. Also, scientific findings of the Ateneo Centre are presented here.
