Home arena of the famous baseball team Los Angeles Dodgers is located near the downtown. The stadium, designed for 56,000 viewers, was built in 1962, but still remains the most capacious baseball stadium of USA. It regularly hosts games for cups of the National Baseball League, and in 1984 Dodgers had semi-finals and the final of the Summer Olympic Games baseball championship.
