Griffith Park - is one of the most beautiful parks in Los Angeles, the perfect place for a family holiday and just walks in the fresh air.
The park occupies a big territory, about 1,700 hectares. One can't get around the park on foot, but it is possible to get on a small train that runs here and get to know the main attractions of the park.
The entrance is free, the Griffith Observatory could be visited for free as well and one will have to pay only for parking.
The park is best to walk in the evening, where stunning views of the twinkling city are and hence the legendary Hollywood sign is clearly visible from here.
Address: 4730 Crystal Springs Dr, Los Angeles

From the sublime parking to old zoo to the Merry-Go-Round (which has been operating since 1937), the largest urban park in America has been voted Best Of LA many times... Also perfect for picnics!

For all those road runners out there, consider trail running here. It will train all the tiny stabilizer muscles in your lower legs that road running just won’t hit.
