The Victoria and Albert Museum (often abbreviated as the V&A) is London art and history museum dedicated to the British Monarchy, which was founded and opened by Queen Victoria in 1857.
The museum is located in Kensington district. One may get to the museum from Knightsbridge tube station following the signs.
The museum is popularly known as the Albert Hall, the entrance is free, though 7-8 pounds is taken for visiting of some temporary exhibitions.
The Albert Hall has a perfect layout, featuring spacious halls, good lighting and rather interesting exhibits.
There is a cafe and a souvenir shop in the museum.
