The Polish pilots Park (Park Lotników Polskich)

Polish pilots Park, formerly called the Park of culture and recreation or AWF Park, created in 1966 of the XX century and is located in the city of Krakow. It was built to isolate the citizens from the steel plant. Next to the park is the Museum of Flight (Air Museum). As an idea, it was planned to build a stadium and 2 swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), a fair and artificial ice rink on 230 hectares for a hundred thousand spectators but all this wasn't implemented.Currently, the area of the park makes 60 hectares, on the territory of which are the bicycle tracks and walking alleys, the "Krakow Arena" sports hall and the "Garden experience" park. As well as monuments in honor of the Polish pilots during World War II called the "Glory of pilots."
