The Temple of Heaven is a beautiful unusual round structure in the midst of a park. A large community of elderly locals uses the park to exercise, sing and play Mahjong and cards everyday.

Absolutely magnificent place. I found it better preserved than the Forbidden City. Tip: enter through the north gate of the park, considerable less crowed and more local taste of what the park is

На территории в парке есть небольшая картинная галерея, где продают картины китайских художников из академии искусств. Традиционные сюжеты на шелке и на рисовой бумаге

The best time to visit this place is early in the morning, around 5:30 AM. No tourists to interfere with the photo ops!

    1) enter from the south gate, exit from either the north or the east gate; 2) must visit Winding Corridor (九曲回廊), which is the best part of the whole park. local folks' life is on full display here.
